About Artists In Motion
Founded in 2013, Artists in Motion Performing Arts began as a vision and a dream that quickly grew into something extraordinary. What started as a simple mobile dance program has blossomed into one of the premier performing arts studios in the region. At AIM, we provide high-quality training in dance, acting, and performance for students ages 18 months through adult, helping every student build confidence, creativity, and a love for the arts. With two locations in Schuylkill Haven, PA, we are proud to serve families throughout Schuylkill County, just five miles south of the county seat of Pottsville.

Erin and Andrew have to be two of the most caring teachers/people in the dance community. They always want what is best for their students and are always willing to go the extra mile for them. Erin was always there for her students from being backstage before they go on to doing their hair when the parents couldn't quite master it. The studio had the first AIM week and it was awesome. The kids loved every minute of it. It was fun but challenging. Even parents were able to sneak in a Hip Hop class. This was just the beginning of what the studio will offer. Knowing both Erin and Andrew, their work ethic and what they have done so far with the studio makes me believe that Artists in Motion Performing Arts Center will be the studio where everyone will want to dance, sing and act. All of the students with be treated equally, with respect and so will the parents. Everyone will be know what is going on and if you ever have a question about anything all you have to do is ask.

My daughter has known Erin & Andrew for 2 years. In those 2 years her confidence, poise and love of singing & dancing has been cultivated greatly under their instruction. With Erin as her teacher/choreographer my daughter has won 2 regional titles and placed 3rd runner up for a national title. She also received 1st place overall in a vocal competition with Andrews coaching. We feel thankful & blessed that our daughter has the opportunity to learn & create at AIM. We are very excited that Erin and Andrew Umphrey have opened a studio in Schuylkill Haven. Erin has been my daughters ballet, tap, and acro teacher for the past two years and she has really flourished under her tutelage. My daughter has a real passion for dance and she is excited each time she meets with her high energy teacher. She also took a summer acting class with Andrew last year and she had fun learning different acting techniques. She just spent a week at their AIM dance camp and in her words, it was the highlight of summer. We can't say enough about the amazing choreography and professionalism of the teachers.
